Sid Huett our head kennel hand is all signed up for Julie Collier's 'Fall For Hounds' Sky dive on 16th June and is looking for sponsors . I'm afraid I'm scared of heights and will not be signing up but will be making a massive effort over the next few months to get him well sponsored, click here for his link.

A big day for Sid as he jumps out of a plane today with over 50 other greyhound supporters at a ridiculous height in the 'Fall For Hounds' Skydive. Superbly organised by SkySports and RPGTV presenter Julie Collier thousands of pounds will be raised for the RGT. Sid bravely put himself forward for this jump and is certainly suffering from nerves pre match but I'm sure he won't lose his bottle at the last minute and well done to him for not only participating but for losing an incredible amount of weight in his preparation. The donations link for Sid is still up for those that would like to show their appreciation and is open for donations until the middle of July and a massive thank you to all owners and friends of our kennel that have done so already.

Apologies for our 5 To Follow list being up late, entirely my fault!, but it will be available later today for our popular FREE TO ENTER competition which closes to entries on June 31st and starts on July 1st. All you have to do is click on to the 5 To Follow link on our Home Page and pick 5 selections from the list of our kennel stars, remember you must include 2 bitches in your selections. You can have up to FIVE entries, pick a team name for each entry and send them in. I will put up three great prizes for the top scorers when the competition ends on December 31st. If you have difficulty in choosing your selections you will see all our kennel strength on the Feature Dogs page. There are plenty of new dogs that will start to be up and running for our kennel in the next few weeks and I will update you on any injuries, bitches in season etc. I'm sure the likes of Adageo Bob, Aero Nemesis and Reel Trickyone will prove most popular but who knows there might be some surprises! Please get as many friends and relatives to put in their entries!

Blonde RazorOn the track last week the Ladbrokes Festival at Monmore took centre stage and three of our four entries in the Catergory 1 Summer Stayers qualified for today's semi-finals. Adageo Bob and El Flutter drawn out wide were at a disadvantage but made it through while Blonde Razor put the previous week's defeat out of his mind with a scintillating front running performance when landing his heat over 630m. Razor again has trap 1 and we are hopeful all three can make Friday's final. Also kicking off today are the heats of three other supporting competitions and Blackstone Marco, winner of his last three races for us at the Midlands track, faces a stiff task in his 480m heat as does Evanta Evita who has a tough draw in her heat. Ilewin Allot and Garryglass Rodge go over 416m while pups Domino Storm and Snappers Lad are in the same heat of the Puppy event. With a bit of luck we could be well represented in Friday's finals.

Reel Trickyone

Reel Trickyone was impressive landing another completion last night at Henlow when he took the Lucky 7 Final worth £700 in a race reduced to four runners, all the same he did it well in a fine 33.13 and he will now step up to 640m, the furthest he's ever been, to have a crack at the William Hill Grand Prix. Also joining him, all being well, will be Adageo Bob, Blonde Razor, El Flutter, Aayamzamodel and Jazz Tilly, the latter was short of a run after injury when eliminated from the Three Steps To Victory heats at Sheffield last Tuesday but should strip fitter when the event gets underway a week Saturday.

In the William Hill Classic over 450m we may only have Derby semi finalist and Consolation winner Aero Nemesis but he will be well capable of landing the spoils. He only trialled moderately last week over track and trip at Sunderland but will be sharper this Saturday when he runs in a trial stake. Getting back to the Three Steps To Victory semi's Rosealinda is still in the mix and might surprise when she runs from trap 1 in the first heat over 500m. Also at Sheffield both Aayamzabella and Black Francis prepare for the forthcoming TV Trophy with runs over 660m.

A big thank you to all the interest shown in my World Series Of Poker trip next month and shares in my action have all been snapped up. As I said before it's been a trip ten years in the waiting and I hope to celebrate my 50th birthday in style by returning my backers a decent profit upon my return. It will, of course, be a busy time for our kennel whilst I'm away and I'm lucky I have such good staff and friends to rely upon as I embark on my adventure!

OPEN RACING

On Monday at Monmore Blonde Razor led the way in the Ladbrokes Summer Stayers with a trap to line win in 37.86 whilst Adageo Bob and El Flutter qualified when 3rd in their respective heats. Aayamzamodel just missed out when a short headd away in her heat.

Rosealinda

At Sheffield on Tuesday Rosealinda qualified for the semi's of the Three Steps To Victory event when 2nd in her 480m heat but last years runner up Jazz Tilly was eliminated after a slow start.

At Romford on Friday no luck with our three runners though Black Francis was a shade unlucky over 750m.

On Sunday at Henlow Reel Trickyone made it four competition wins on the trot when landing the Lucky 7 Final in good style in a very good 33.13. At Sittingbourne Murlens Crash didn't seem suited to the short run to the bend over 450m in the Dual Distance final when 4th while Benkaat Nero and Bridge Bandit were 2nd and 3rd respectively in the heats of the 480m competition.

GRADED RACING

Benkaat BoomerOn Monday Saffrons Champ ran well when 2nd in top grade and was best of our FOUR runners while on Wednesday Newinn Chick took an A1 well when winning by 2 lengths in a fine 27.92 (+20) and Benkaat Dolly was only beaten a head in an A2.

On Saturday Adageo Lad returned from a long absence through injury to take an A2 in 28.59 and is sure to improve. Benkaat Boomer made it a superb hat trick of wins as he took a very good A1 in 27.99 (+10) while the improving Ilehaveone was 2nd in an A3.

Benkaat Nero and Bridge Bandit run on Sunday in the 480m Final at Sittingbourne.

WEBSITE RECOMMENDED BETS

Adageo Bob was our recommendation in the Ladbrokes Summer Stayers and ran well to qualify from Mondays heats, if he gets a run today he will be set for Friday's final.

Rosealinda is a silly 66/1 for tomorrow's Three Steps To Victory semi's and at 66/1 is worth a small interest at those prices.

ROSEALINDA - 1 pt e.w ante post 66/1 - Three Steps To Victory - Sheffield - continues Tuesday

ADVISED LAST WEEK

ADAGEO BOB - 2 pts e.w ante post 12/1 - Ladbrokes Summer Stayers - Monmore - continues today.
