3 DECEMBER 2019 (see video here)
Back at Henlow inA4 grade Mary wase sent off at 5/1 from trap 1. As hoped and expected her early speed took her to the lead at the first bend and down the back straight and then it was a question of 'can she hold on?' Unfortunately not and in the home straight she was passed to finish just 3/4 length and a length 3rd in a good time of 28.29.

21 NOVEMBER 2019
To complete her re-grading at Henlow Mary ran a solo from trap 2. She was quick away and on a slow track she finished in a calc 28.40.

15 NOVEMBER 2019 (see video here)
Stepping up her comeback Mary was entered for a Bitches open at Romford which turned out to be a hot race.  She was drawn in trap 4 and after a slowish break she turned straight for the rails  Unfortunately at the first bend she took a huge knock from the 1 dog and bumped badly with the 6 dog.  She recovered and ran 5th in 24.89.

8 NOVEMBER 2019
In a 277 metre solo Mary showed good early pace and completed in 16.94.

1 NOVEMBER 2019
After a couple of months off to heal her shoulder strain Mary had a handslip at Henlow and showed no adverse reaction.

2 SEPTEMBER 2019 (see video here)
Quickly back up to A3 grade Mary was made Evens fav from trap 1.  She broke well and showed great early pace to lead at the bend and drew clear of the field down the back straight but going into the 3rd bend it was obvious there was a problem and she dropped back to finish last in 28.42.  She was later found to have again sustained damage to her shoulder.

30 AUGUST 2019 (see video here)
Straight back down to A4 Mary was 5/2 jf from her favourite trap 1. She made her best ever break (3.68) and led round the first bends and was 3 lengths clear going into the back straight. The pack gradually closed but she held on to win by 3/4 length in 28.00.

17 AUGUST 2019 (see video here)
Up to A3 Mary was sent off at 7/2 from trap 1. Good early pace and some determination saw her lead into the back straight but she could never get too clear and the pack were closing at the third bend.  She kept on well though and finished a close up 3rd in a career best time of 27.85.

11 AUGUST 2019 (see video here)
In a five dog A4 race Mary was sent off at 2/1 fav from trap 1. She broke very well and was in a clear lead at the first bend.  She kept clear down the back straight but at the third bend her kennelmate in trap 2 was closing.  She kept on and just managed to hold on to win by a short head and for the first time at Henlow broke the 28 second mark to record a fine 27.93.

4 AUGUST 2019 (see video here)
Switched back to Henlow Mary ran at 8/1 from trap 2 in a 460 metres Open race.  A level break saw crowding on the run up and she was shuffled to the back of the field at the first bend.  She tried to make a move approaching the third bend but had to check and finished last in a time of  28.79.

26 JULY 2019
In another warm Bitches Open at Romford Mary ran at 6/1 from trap 1.  She broke OK but the fancied outside dogs led to the bend.  Mary railed well around the first bends but could not catch the leaders and was just pipped into 4th place at the line in a finishing time of 24.65. (Apologies no video)

19 JULY 2019 (see video here)
After her fine win last week Mary returned to Romford for a 400 metre Bitches Open.  With a 1/2 fav and a non runner Mary was sent off at 16/2 from trap 2.   The 1 dog made a flier but Mary ran her race and railed in behind.  She ran away from the 1/2 fav and pushed on throughout to finish 2nd in 24.42.

12 JULY 2019 (see video here)
In her first race back from injury Mary made her Romford debut.  She drew trap 1 in a 400 metre Maiden Open and was sent off at great odds of 7/1. She broke well and pushed on to the bend where she ensured she held her rails position and avoided most of the bumping at the first bend. She then led all the way and held on to win by a head in 24.72.

4 JULY 2019
Continuing her comeback Mary ran a 3 dog 428 metre trial and flew the traps to lead all the way and win in a great 26.05.

11 MAY 2019

5 MAY 2019 (see video here)
Lining up in heat 4 of the BGBF Scurry over 462 metres at Henlow Mary ran at 5/1 from trap 2. 25 APRIL 2019 (see video here)
In another tough A3 at odds of 6/1 Mary was not able to make her usual speedy break from trap 2. She was involved in bumping in the middle of the field around the first two bends and ran down the back straight in 4th place. Approaching the third bend she started to fade and finished 6th in a time of 28.72.

14 APRIL 2019 (see video here)
In A3 grade again but this time in trap 1 and sent off at 5/1 Mary made a great break and managed to lead the field around the first bends.  She carried on down the back straight but conceded the lead approaching the third bend but pushed on gamely to finish a close up 4th in 28.18.

7 APRIL 2019 (see video here)
Not upgraded for her win but a much higher class A3 this time and from trap 2. At odds of 6/1 she broke well and tried to hold position at the bend but was knocked sideways by the 1 dog.  She started to be passed by the rest of the field down the back straight and then faded badly from the 3rd/4th bend to finish way out the back of the field in a time of 29.20.

She led down the back straight but was passed by the 3 and 5 dogs going into the third bend. However, going into the 4th bend she tried to push on again only to have to check badly on the rail. She ran on to finish 4th in a time of 28.28.

2 MARCH 2019 (see video here)
Sent off at 3/1 up in A4 grade Mary led from trap 1 to the first bend. She continued in the lead down the back straight but got swallowed up going into the third bend. She ran in 3rd place but got passed on the run in and finished 5th in a good time of 28.17.

24 FEBRUARY 2019 (see video here)
The grader obviously heard our pleas! and back down to A5 grade Mary was sent off a hot 11/10 fav from trap 1. She was not particularly quick away but her early pace took her into the lead at the first bend. She pushed on and kept her lead to win by 2 lengths in 28.19.

16 FEBRUARY 2019 (see video here)
From trap 2 in A4 Mary was sent off at 7/2 but could not make her usual fast break and was shuffled to the middle of the field at the first bend. She tried to  make a move going into the third bend but was knocked back and finished 6th in 28.92. Time for a little help from the grader?!

Fro trap 1 in A4 grade Mary was sent off 9/4 jf. Not her fastest break but she chased to the first bend to lead on the rail but the five dog had literally flown and went on to win by 6 lengths. Mary chased in vain and led the rest of the field home to finish 2nd in a time of 28.39.

24 SEPTEMBER 2018 (see video here)
After a good performance last time we were hopeful of a good result for Mary in A7 grade against new Club dog Roswell Martian. She was sent off a 9/4 fav from trap 1. First race A10 again on Saturday evening and Mary duly gave us her first career win. At 5/2 from trap 2 she broke well but was held out by the 1 dog at the first bend. Running wide she was passed by the 1 and 3 dogs down the back straight but fortunately they got in a tangle at the 3rd bend and Mary was quick to take advantage and was 4-5 lengths clear at the 4th bend. She ran on well to win by 3 1/2 lengths in 29.48.

10 FEBRUARY 2018 (see video here)
Again in A10 on Saturday evening originally hopes were high for Mary from trap 3 but a reserve was brought into trap 2 and made hot favourite and duly won by over 5 lengths! Mary was sent off at 4/1 but was unable to get a clear run to the first bend. She turned clear 2nd to the favourite and challenged down the back straight but had to check at the 3rd bend. She tired a bit on the run in and finished 4th in 29.99.

2 FEBRUARY 2018 (see video here)
